Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson's great, PDA-heavy surprise romance may have come to an end, Entertainment Tonight reports. The outlet was told by a source familiar with the situation that the two have called their romance off. "They’re still friendly but are not on romantic terms," that source said.

Entertainment Tonight's report comes hours after Peoplereported that the two had “decided to slow things down," according to its own source, but were still together. That source said, “Pete and Kate got super serious very fast but they’ve decided to slow things down a bit. They’re still dating as of now.” What their actual status is, they know, but the hockey game arena makeout days are certainly done right now.

Beckinsale did talk about her relationship with Davidson in an interview last month with the Los Angles Times. The outlet's reporter asked Beckinsale if she was surprised by the media attention she and Davidson get. "I’m surprised by the interest," Beckinsale said. "I’ve never been in this position before—never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."

The interview came days after Davidson was photographed getting dinner with Beckinsale and her parents. They were also photographed making out in a car that same week, so things were really hot and heavy then.
