As well as releasing an array of NSFW fruit-filled videos related to her upcoming album She Is Coming, Miley Cyrus has also teased some of the songs as well.

The singer performed 'Cattitude' from the album - which will drop on May 31 - at BBC Radio One's big weekend and one of the first things fans noticed was a line about the world's two biggest - and reportedly still feuding - female rappers.

'I love you Selena, but I listen to Demi. I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi' the line said.

Immediately, the internet had thoughts and questioned if this was Miley taking sides:

However, appearing on Capital's Breakfast Show on Tuesday, Cyrus clarified the comments explaining that she's not taking any side in any apparent argument and that she's a believer in championing all the artists, even if they make similar music.

'I don't actually think there is beef now anymore,' she says. 'I think you're allowed to enjoy two artists that fill a similar lane and I always grew up collaborating with Demi, Selena and there was never any competition. Ariana [Grande] is one of my best friends. When you are authentically yourself no one can be you so you're never worried about someone stealing your place.

'I think what they [Cardi and Nicki] do is so different from each other so they both get a crown, they don't have to share it. They're both queens. Anytime you want to feel powerful and strong, that's my go to - Cardi and Nicki.'

Just what we like to hear.

Miley's also been throwing out her own 'I love you [insert name], but I listen to [insert name]' tweets and retweets too.

The immediate speculation as to what Cyrus could have been referring to was given legs by the fact that she and Minaj famously crossed words at the 2015 VMAs.

After Cyrus waded into a quickly resolved heated Twitter exchange between Minaj and Taylor Swift, Minaj uttered her, now infamous, 'What's good?' line in Cyrus' direction live on stage.

But now, fans are understanding the true meanings of the lyrics and all is well.
