Taylor Swift proved her dedication once more to Sansa Stark, a.k.a Sophie Turner, whilst on The Graham Norton Show.

After performing her joyous hit ME!, the singer joined Dark Phoenix stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Sophie Turner on the sofa.

As she went to embrace Turner - who was sporting a similar hairstyle to her - she exclaimed 'Buddy!' before giving her a big squeeze.

Swift is understandably a huge fan of Turner, particularly for her starring role on Game of Thrones, which she recently revealed was a huge influence on her last album Reputation.

'So much of my imagination was spent on Game of Thrones,' the 29 year-old told Entertainment Weekly. 'At the time, I was making Reputation and I didn’t talk about it in interviews, so I didn’t reveal that a lot of the songs were influenced by the show.'

The ELLE UK cover star went on to detail exactly which songs from her last album were prompted by what character or plot line.

'These songs were half based on what I was going through, but seeing them through a Game of Thrones filter,' Swift explained. '‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is literally Arya Stark’s kill list. ‘King of My Heart’ was influenced by Khal Drogo and Daenerys. It’s even got this post-hook of drums — I wanted them to sound like Dothraki drums....‘I Did Something Bad’ I wrote after Arya and Sansa conspire to kill Littlefinger,...'Look What You Made Me Do,' she added: 'are very Cersei vibes, too. Daenerys as well.'

Swift also oh-so-nearly called the end of GoT too, guessing who would win the iron throne: 'Daenerys, Arya, or Sansa...But if I’m being realistic, I think Sansa has the skill set and the ability to delegate and put on a brave face but a stoic demeanour.'

It's important to remember that the two long-limbed and talented blondes have much in common, namely Turner's husband, and Swift's ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas. Whilst 23 year-old Turner just wed the 29 year-old musician, 29 year-old Swift briefly dated him back in 2008.
