Jennifer Lawrence knew she had gone into full bride mode when she cried over her bachelorette party. Lawrence talked wedding planning, falling in love with fiancé Cooke Maroney, and getting back to work on Catt Sadler's NAKED With Catt Sandler podcast.

Lawrence admitted that she knew Maroney was the one fast. 'Definitely [my idea is you get married once, you do it for life],' she started. 'I don’t know. It was just, it was so organic. I don’t know, I haven’t talked about it yet in an interview setting. I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, "I’m ready to get married." I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him,' she says. 'We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favourite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer,' she finished with a laugh.

Sandler asked Lawrence if she was nervous about her wedding. 'No, not really. I’ve been in a good place,' she said. 'I haven’t been neurotic about it. I’m too lazy to be neurotic. I like saw a dress I liked. I said, "oh, that’s the dress." I saw a venue, and I was like, "Cool, we got the venue." Yesterday was my only bridezilla moment where I cried 'cause I thought I didn’t want to have a bachelorette party and then last minute, I decided I did.' Her friends weren't available on short notice, and she cried in front of Maroney about it.

'I didn't realise that I wanted it until yesterday, until I realised I couldn't have it, which is typical,' she said. 'My friend was like, "Welcome to being a bride." I've cried, I've officially joined the club.'

Lawrence also discussed how her year off from acting in New York—along with her and Maroney's relationship—changed her. 'I feel like I got to know myself in the past year,' she started. 'It was great. You know, I met somebody, I fell in love, and I started a new life in New York. It's not as private as I would love for it to be, but I have been doing things that I didn't actually think that I could. I used to have a stigma about, you know, I’d get nervous before going to restaurants, or I felt like I couldn't go to dive bars. There were just certain things, like, "Oh, I can't do that." And then the past year, I've just been doing all of that. And I feel like my life is more well-rounded because I took time off.'

It was Maroney who inspired Lawrence to go out more. 'Honestly, I was dating someone and I didn't want to tell him about [it.] You know, I wanted to be normal and cool, so I just kind of hid that part of me and everything ended up being fine. And I was like, "oh, I can do this." It was cool.'
