One of the biggest - and cutest - fans at England's quarter final women's world cup game in France on Thursday night was Harper Beckham.

The seven-year-old joined her football legend father David Beckham in the stands to cheer on the Lionesses - who successfully earned their place in the semi-finals of the competition with a 3-0 defeat over Norway in a game watched by 7.6m British people.

Harper, a keen footballer herself, was seen cheering on the team in her England shirt when Lucy Bronze scored the side's third goal in Le Havre, northern France.

However, when an equally thrilled David high-fived a woman in the audience, he then missed his daughter (who was holding her own football - adorable) hold up her hand for a celebratory tap.

Clearly not one to let her Dad get away with leaving her hanging, Harper tapped her David's arm so that he could complete the high five, which was all captured on the BBC's camera of course.

Ahead of the match, football superfan Harper and David, who also brought along his mother Sandra, visited the Lionesses as they were preparing for the game. It was also a chance for the 44-year-old to see his childhood friend Phil Neville - the England Women's manager - and upload several cute pictures to Instagram Stories.

Absent from the match was the rest of the family, including Harper's mum Victoria Beckham. The designer was there in spirit though, sending her best to the players by uploading a picture on Instagram of her 'excited' daughter meeting player Nikita Parris.

Anyone else tempted to put money on Harper making her own Lionesses' world cup debut in, say, 10 years time?
