Ariana Grande has officially begun her duties as the new face of Givenchy. The singer's first campaign for the luxury fashion house was released this afternoon after days of Grande teasing it on her Instagram. Grande was shot by Craig McDean in clothes from the house's fall/winter 2019 collection.

Dubbed #Arivenchy, Grande's first campaign respects the house's traditions of portrait images (favored by the house's founder Hubert de Givenchy, who dubbed it "the Givenchy sitting") while injecting a modern flair. In the images, Grande wears a pleated floral dress, tailored green blazer, and an arresting off-the-shoulder evening look.

She shared more trippy teaser images prior to the release:

When Grande was first announced as the new face of Givenchy, the brand explained in its press release that she was tapped because 'she naturally embodies the spirit of the Givenchy woman with impertinence, generosity and a lightning wit—all cloaked in a touch of mystery.'

Grande was honored to join the Givenchy team. 'It is a House I have forever admired and to now be part of that family is such an honour,' she said of the announcement.

'I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it. Not only is the clothing timeless and beautiful, but I'm proud to work with a brand that makes people feel celebrated for who they are and unapologetic about whatever they want to be.'
