Beyoncé's mother Tina Lawson gave a significant update on 7-year-old Blue Ivy Carter and just how talented she is in all the arts. Yes, Blue already has a song that charted on the Billboard Top 100, and she has appeared in her mother's music videos and alongside her on red carpets. She's a talented performer, and according to her grandmother Tina, she's also very, very good at doing makeup. She has perfected skills some adults haven't, namely the cat eye.
'I've bought Blue so many makeup kits, much to her dad's dismay!' Tina told Entertainment Tonight at BeautyCon Festival LA. 'But it's just for playtime. We have fun!' Blue is 'quite the makeup artist,' Tina said, who's particularly good at eye makeup. 'She puts stones and does all this fancy stuff. She can do a perfect cat eye. She's a little artist.'
Blue's work has been shown on Beyoncé's Instagram before, along with her creativity. This was Blue in 2016 doing makeup though, when she was just four years old. Her skills have likely progressed a lot in the three years since the photo was posted:
A source talked to People last month about what Blue's life is like. 'She is very sassy, high energy and knows what she wants,' a source told the outlet. 'Especially after the twins [two-year-olds Sir and Rumi] were born, Beyoncé made sure that Blue was able to embrace her new role as a big sister. She also lets her go to video shoots, award shows and music recording. They have a very special bond!'
