Florence Pugh just had the meet-cute of all of our dreams on the Oscars 2020 red carpet, when she bumped into fellow actress Scarlett Johansson.

The 24-year-old Little Women actress couldn't contain her excitement, as she sidled up to her Black Widow co-star.

Grasping 35-year-old Johansson's hands with her eyes (and mouth) wide open, Pugh soon brought Johansson in for an enthusiastic embrace and this woman-to-woman appreciation is exactly the kind of energy we're hoping to bring throughout 2020.

Pugh, dressed in a bold, aquamarine Louis Vuitton dress is nominated for her role as Amy March in the Greta Gerwig directed 2020 re-imagining of Louisa May Alcott's novel about a family of young girls striving to give their life meaning beyond tradition and marriage.

Johansson, dressed gloriously in Oscar De La Renta, is also nominated, in the same Best Supporting Actress category, for her role in JoJo Rabbit.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the co-stars have been developing a lovely friendship, beyond simply starring in the same film. The entertainment publication states that Pugh actually texted the more veteran star for her pre-Oscars advice.

In an interview with the publication, Pugh said: 'I’ve already sent her a text being like, "You do realise you’re gonna just have to hold my hand and walk me through the whole experience."'

Johansson brought her SNL writer beau Colin Jost as her Oscars date and the pair looked extremely loved up on the red carpet, making them one of the most amorous couples of all at the event.
