Westworld fans received a treat during the Super Bowl: a brand new trailer for the HBO show's second season. 'We built this world together,' narrates Evan Rachel Wood's character, Dolores. 'A world where dreams come true. A world where you can be free'.
But the trailer takes a darker turn as she recalls the treachery of the first season. 'But this world is a lie,' she says. 'This world deserves to die. Because this is your world. We've lived by your rules long enough.' It's enough to give you chills—and start counting down the days.
Wood herself tweeted that she's more than ready for the show's next step.
Westworld season 2 returns April 22 at 9 P.M.
