If you thought Jennifer Lawrence's biggest antics were before the Oscars, between the goofy carpet posing and the hopping over seats with her wine glass, you'd be mistaken. Right during Jimmy Kimmel's opening monologue, Lawrence gave the world another quality J.Law moment when she trolled her friend and seat-mate Emma Stone. Stone was the punchline of Kimmel's La La Land/Moonlight 2017best picture mixup joke. Stone starred in La La Land and won a Best Actress Oscar for her role last year.

"This year, when you hear your name called, don't get up right away," Kimmel told the crowd. "Give us a minute." The camera, of course, got an audience shot of Stone during this joke, who bit her lip and grinned. And J.Law, beside her, pointed at Stone and lost it laughing.

So good.

Lawrence and Stone's friendship actually started with a f*ck off text, so this is really in line with their jokey dynamic. "She texted me that she got my number from Woody [Harrelson]," Lawrence told Vanity Fair in November 2016 of their first intro. "I replied, Fuck off!' And we've been really good friends ever since." They texted every day for a year after that, Lawrence said. "I feel like it was our version of The Notebook—365 texts."

"She may not even know this," Stone added via email, "but there was definitely a time early on when I was like OH HEY MY EGO IS GOING NUTS SHE'S SO GREAT AND VIBRANT AND TALENTED I'M SCREWED I'LL NEVER WORK AGAIN GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD.' Then I chilled the fuck out—and remembered we're completely different and there is room for everyone, even if it's an industry that doesn't really seem to support that idea up front. We both really do love each other and care about each other as people, beyond being actors. I support her completely when it comes to work and I feel the same from her, but I know we'd be friends even if we didn't do the same job."
