Since his split from Jennifer Aniston last month, Justin Theroux seems to be enjoying bachelor life in New York City.
In recent weeks, rumors have been stirring about a possible relationship between Theroux and in-demand artist and photographer Petra Collins (which the 46-year-old actor and producer has neither confirmer nor denied). But now, new photo evidence has surfaced tying Theroux to another woman in the public eye—Parks and Recreation alum, Aubrey Plaza.
According to a Daily Mail exclusive, Theroux and Plaza were just spotted casually strolling down the streets of NYC together.
However, the pair could just be old friends reconnecting. The two actors have a bit of a past—professionally. Back in 2010, Theroux made a guest appearance alongside Plaza in four episodes of Parks and Recreation, acting as the love interest to Amy Poehler's character Leslie Knope.
In fact, insiders say the former costars' recent meet-up was solely work-related. 'They met to discuss a potential film project,' a source explained to People.
Plaza was most recently romantically linked to director Jeff Baena. The two first worked together in his 2014 fantasy drama Life After Beth, then again more recently in the 2017 film The Little Hours, which Baena directed and Plaza co-starred in with Alsion Brie.
However, The Daily Mail claimed that Plaza and Baena have not been photographed together in over a year, meaning the 34-year-old actress, like Theroux, may be single.
And despite the eyebrow-raising relationship reports, apparently Theroux's post-breakup life has been pretty uneventful. 'He’s just doing his thing,' a source told People. 'He eats at the same time, goes to the same places, hangs with the same people.'
Until any official confirmation, Theroux's next step in the love game remains to be unknown.
