As sisters, reality star royalty, new mothers, and make-up moguls with a combined estimated net worth of £165m, who better to interview Kylie Jenner on insecurities, motherhood and fame than her older sister, Kim Kardashian.

In a new interview for the Evening Standard, Kim questioned the youngest Jenner star about how she’s tackled the early challenges of motherhood. ‘I feel like it’s just been so amazing, and so much fun,' replied the 20-year-old.

‘I’m learning so much more about myself and life, and it’s been such a great experience. Of course there’s hard times and stuff… even in the beginning, just not sleeping, the nights, like, baby blues… and all the ups and downs. And also even when I’m here it was so hard to leave this morning. I’m like, "I’ll be right back, I’m so sorry, I have to leave!" and she doesn’t even know what’s going on. I think about her all the time, anywhere I am. I would rather be with her or wish she can come everywhere. I can’t wait till she can come everywhere with me, because right when she’s old enough I’ll bring her everywhere.’

Opening up about how her and boyfriend Travis Scott – who incidentally she said is her favourite musician of all time (of course) – came up with the name for their three-month-old daughter, Stormi, Kylie admitted: ‘I really don’t know how we thought of Storm.’

‘Her dad insisted it was him, but I feel like it was me. And that kind of just stuck with us. And then I didn’t really like just Storm — I didn’t feel like that was her name. So then it became Stormi. And it just stuck. I feel like there were a lot of other names that I might have even liked better to be honest, but I feel like Stormi picked her own name, like it was just her name.’

Explaining that she hopes her daughter will grow up ‘strong’, ‘independent and confident’, Kylie revealed she’s started to think about her own future more since becoming a mother.

‘Every time I leave and I’m stressed about leaving her, I’m like, “I’m doing it for you.” Everyone says you change completely when you become a mum, but I really feel the same, just better. So I don’t know what really has completely changed my world, besides her, of course. But I feel like it’s only gotten better. You’re less selfish — and I actually enjoy changing diapers. It’s really satisfying. To make her clean again. And I don’t know, the whole thing is really… it’s like such an amazing experience.’

Unbeknown to the majority of her fans, Kylie admitted to her sister that the inspiration behind launching Kylie Cosmetics – which had estimated sales of £237m last year, by WWD – came from her own beauty and body insecurities.

‘I was insecure about my lips, and lipstick is what helped me feel confident,' she revealed. 'And I feel like people could see that it’s authentic to me, and it was organic, and it just worked!’

With a goal to have her cosmetics line in shops worldwide, Kylie also told her sister that she’s not against plastic surgery in the future, much to Kim’s glee.

‘I feel like if it makes you feel better, and if that’s what you want to do, I’m not against it. Right now I probably wouldn’t do anything, actually,’ she told the mother-of-three.

The 36-year-old replied: ‘You’re 20, so I hope not! We’ll talk in 20 years, and then maybe you’ll have a different answer.’

Talking about the benefits and hardships about being homeschooled during the early days of filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians (‘I actually learned a lot more, and it was actually harder being in home school’), Kylie also said that she has considered what life would be like if she wasn’t a reality star.

‘I don’t wish I’d changed my family, because I love my family,’ she told her sister. ‘I do think about if I didn’t have to be famous. And it’s like a fantasy sometimes, but there’s really not one problem I have. You figure out how to deal with it.’

She also revealed her thoughts on involving her daughter in the famous E! show. ‘I have thought about it but I haven’t come to a conclusion yet,’ she admitted.

Kylie gave birth to her daughter two weeks after Kim welcomed her third child, daughter Chicago West, via surrogate. Two months later, the family welcomed yet another baby girl into their clan, Khloé Kardashian’s daughter, True Thompson.

Opening up about the close ages of their three daughters, Kylie gushed: ‘ It’s crazy how fast they grow, because Chi [pronounced ‘shy’] is just, like, two weeks older, but you can tell she’s a little bit more advanced. And then, right when Stormi hits two weeks, she’s doing the same things Chi was doing, and they’re like… it’s just crazy to see them grow up together.’

‘It was so much fun [being pregnant at the same time as Khloé]. We would just experience everything together. I was a little bit ahead of her, so we were both doing it for the first time and I would just like warn her of things that happened… the amazing things that are going on, and feeling the baby for the first time. So we would talk, like, on a daily basis about everything.’

However, Kylie said that Khloé may have regretted being in the delivery room with her weeks before giving birth to her own child.

‘I needed Khloé in the room with me,’ Kylie said. 'I think it made her more scared. She was there for all my other sisters. She’s just very, very nurturing. So she really helped me through the whole thing. Everyone should have Khloé in their delivery room.'

Kylie sounds like she has motherhood down to a fine art right now.
