On Wednesday, Rihanna pretty much summed up our desperation for summer with three selfies in swimwear and, incidentally, gave us a healthy dose of body positivity in the process.
With her hair loose and her make-up free face soaking in the sweet summer rays, the 30-year-old star captured the laid-back look ‘when u can’t wait for summer’.
However, her fans soon noticed that in the snap, Rihanna isn't just celebrating the fact summer is nearly here, but her natural body.
In the snaps, Rihanna showcases stubble on her legs and stretch marks on her thighs, much to her fans delight.
‘I have stretch marks too, thank you for being true,’ wrote one follower on the snap’. ‘Magestic like a tiger,’ wrote another.
‘When I’ve been insecure all the time about showing my stretch marks on my lil booty, you just gave me hope hunny ❤️❤️ love you always,’ added an admirer.
When one fan thanked the singer for her ‘tiger stripes’ (aka stretch marks), the Barbados beauty clarified: ‘I got stretch marks but that's just the sun 😂.’

In a clip from the campaign, released last week, a model wears a two-piece nude lace setand opens up about her body and stretch marks. ‘I think I feel most sexy... in the morning. Rolls, stretch marks, cellulite - they don't think of that,’ the model says in the video.
Rihanna’s new lingerie line - which will also include a bridal section - will has been created for women of all shapes, sizes, and body types, and will feature inclusive sizing with bras up to a 44D and pants up to a 3X.
