Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan may have called time on their eight-year marriage back in April, but that isn’t going to stop the proud parents gushing about each other.
Last night, the Magic Mike star sent his ex-wife and mother to his four-year-old child, Everly, the sweetest message to celebrate Mother’s Day in the US.
'Happy Mother's Day everybody. Jenna, Happy Mother's Day, baby. Momma, Happy Mother's Day. Love you guys,' he said said in a video posted on Instagram Stories during a road trip with a friend.
On the same day, Jenna posted several adorable pictures and videos of her dancing with her little girl.
The heartfelt posts comes days after Jenna revealed her biggest hope for Mother’s Day.
'I always want Mother's Day to be, like, family. I want to do something together, I want to be with Evie, I just have a really nice day and then the next day, I want to go to the spa,' she told Entertainment Tonight.
'That's what I want. I want the balance. I want the mommy time and then I want the me time. So that's my plan.'
Following news of their split, Jenna dropped the ‘Tatum’ from her social media accounts amid news that her ex-husband was having a ‘hard’ time following the break-up.
In April, the couple posted their official break-up statement on Instagram. They wrote:
‘We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love each other, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision—just two best friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving, dedicated parents to Everly. We won't be commenting beyond this, and we thank you in advance for respecting our family's privacy.’
