Back in April, you’d be forgiven for thinking the model in Zayn Malik’s ‘Let Me’ music video was Gigi Hadid, such was the likeness between the beauties.

However, it appears that despite his split from the international supermodel (amid reports he’s enjoyed multiple sleepovers at the star’s house since), Malik just can't shake the thought of Hadid from his brain.

Can you blame him?

In the video for his latest tune ‘Entertainer’, the Bradford-born star cosies up to model Sofia Jamora, who featured in the video for his first song from his new album and shares an uncanny resemblance to his Californian ex-girlfriend.

Those brows, tan, high cheekbones - seriously, could he have picked a model who looked more like Gigi?

The video sees the 25-year-old share several intimate moments with Jamora, who sports a platinum blonde bob and cuddles up to the former One Direction star in a motel room.

The song's lyrics also seem to allude to a broken romance which is widely believed to be about his split from Tommy Hilfiger collaborator Hadid.

In the song, Malik sings: ‘I knew it right away when you stopped loving me/ It happened when your touch wasn’t enough for me.’

In April, the singer was spotted leaving Gigi’s apartment in the same clothes he entered her building in the day before, suggesting the two are yet to call it a day on their relationship just yet.

The couple announced their split on 13 March after two years of dating, but have continued to speak out about their love for each other.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest two months ago, the star admitted he wrote 'Let Me' seven or eight months before when he was ‘in love’.

'I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life and the rest of theirs, as we all do,' the singer admitted. 'Things change and we move forward in life. Times change, but that's what I was thinking when I wrote it,’ he revealed.

Following their break-up Zayn tweeted: ‘Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend.

'She has such an incredible soul. I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all. xZ.'

We have a feeling it's not the end for Gigi and Zayn, do you?
