What may sound like the ultimate dinner party wish-list was, in fact, just a handful of moments snapped behind closed doors at one of London's most exclusive star-studded soirées.

For the event, actress Ellie Bamber, designer Michael Halpern, model Adwoa Aboah, BBZ DJ collective Tia Simon-Campbell and Nadine Davis and fashion activist Sinéad Burke headed to London’s Spring Restaurant, Somerset House to champion the talent disrupting the status quo in 2018.
Walking the red carpet at the event, Bamber - who wore an embellished sheer silver and black Chanel dress and Jimmy Choos - told ELLE: ‘It’s really exciting to be here this evening. I can’t wait to see all the emerging talent.’
‘Thank you very much for putting me on your list,’ beamed Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo, who wore the silver sparkly Alexandra Long suit of dreams. ‘I’m very happy to be here.’
Also at the event was singer Raye, designer Molly Goddard, Gal-Dem founder Liv Little and THE OUTNET's managing director Emma Mortimer and Off-Season president Alessandra Rossi.
Following the red carpet arrivals, guests sipped on champagne courtesy of Laurent-Perrier, before hitting the dance floor to get down to DJs Zezi Ifore and Chloe Caillet’s intoxicating concoction of R’n’B.
Think Lauryn Hill, Drake, Janet Jackson, Sister Sledge and last month’s ELLE cover star Dua Lipa mixed with espresso martinis and fresh strawberry and vodka cocktails.
During the festivities, ELLE’s editor-in-chief Anne-Marie Curtis took to the podium, dressed in a yellow floral Richard Quinn midi-dress, to congratulate the hell-raisers reframing the world of fashion, beauty, art, politics and technology.

The ELLE LIST - which launched on Monday 4 June - features 50 honourees and was curated by a panel of prestigious judges including Director of The Tate Maria Balshaw, Instagram's Eva Chen, fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu, the team at The Outnet, leader of the Women's Equality Party Sophie Walker, singer Jessie Ware, supermodel Alek Wek, and Anne-Marie Curtis.
