Since giving birth to her son Miles Theodore last month, Chrissy Teigen hasn’t shied away from opening up about the realities of post-partum life; from the demands of late-night feeds, to the problems of 'milky' boobs and vagina steaming.

Last night, the mother-of-two posted an adorable photograph of her five-week-old baby lying on a yellow giraffe print pillow in a coordinating giraffe patterned onesie.

‘Hey dudes,’ the Sports Illustrated model captioned the image.

Along with the photo, Teigen responded to a fan in the comments section who questioned her about the use of in vitro fertilisation (IVF)

‘I know IVF was used for Luna was it used for baby brother also?,’ a follower commented on the snap.

While several followers criticised the fan for asking such a personal question about Teigen’s fertility, the 32-year-old took the opportunity to open up about the process

‘I wasn’t offended by it — people are just curious and I think hearing success stories gives people hope. I’m all for talking about IVF,’ the Lip Sync Battle star replied.

Teigen has often opened up about her struggle to conceive with husband John Legend, following their marriage in September 2013.

Earlier this year, the Twitter sensation told PEOPLE that she chose to undergo IVF again more than two years after falling pregnant with now two-year-old Luna through the procedure.

‘You do the whole process again to try to get as many embryos and eggs as possible,’ Teigen explained of the artificial insemination. ‘Everyone is freezing everything. … For me, I just want to gather as many [embryos] as possible. I don’t want to do this again for the rest of my life.’

In January, Teigen confirmed she and Legend had conceived Miles through IVF after she previously said ‘a little boy is next’.

We're all about talking about IVF too, Chrissy!
