Meghan Markle's rescue dog Guy might be releasing his very 'own' children's book, but he'll have some stiff competition when it comes to replacing her oldest niece and nephew's favourite bedtime story.

On Monday, Prince William revealed his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, can't get enough of listening to The Gruffalo, written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, before bed.

PEOPLE reports Donaldson and Scheffler decorated one of 21 model rhinos with characters from their book, The Ugly Five, as part of a project to raise awareness of the threat facing rhino populations as a result of poachers.

Speaking of how Donaldson and Scheffler could help raise awareness for Tusk, the father-of-three said: 'We need the young generation to really understand.'

The 36-year-old has been a royal patron of the trust - which was was established in 1990 at the height of the previous poaching crisis - since 2005, making it one of the first charities he adopted.

The organisation works with Africa’s conservationists to protect endangered species and combat poaching, which is a cause close to the princes's heart, aligning with his efforts to end illegal wildlife trade.

The prince is also president of 'United for Wildlife,' a coalition of seven global conservation groups that will organise the new task force.
