Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Cardiff

Not only did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fully throw themselves into netball drills and team games at their official engagement yesterday - heels and all - the low-maintenance pair also casually arrived by train.

The royal couple were filmed holding hands as they walked along the platform flanked by security, with one commuter sharing a clip of the duke and duchess along with the caption: 'Bizarrely sharing my train with Harry & Meghan today.'

Of course this isn't the first time Harry and Meghan have travelled to royal events by train - there was time they were late for their official visit to Cardiff after their train from London to the Welsh city was delayed by an hour.

Harry apologised to well-wishers who had gathered outside to greet the pair upon their arrival, saying: 'Most of you have freezing cold hands! We're very sorry we're late, blame the trains!'

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were visiting Loughborough University to support the Royal Foundation's Coach Core - an apprenticeship programme which helps young people who are not in education, employment or training to build a career. It trains young people to become coaches and encourages the next generation of athletes.

Harry and Meghan also attended the Coach Core awards ceremony, which celebrated the achievements of young people who have taken part in the life-changing programme.

The duchess will be carrying out her first solo engagement today as she attends the opening of 'Oceania' at the Royal Academy of Arts in central London.

The exhibition will celebrate the art of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia, encompassing the vast Pacific region including New Guinea, Easter Island, Hawaii and New Zealand.

We can't wait to see how Meghan takes on her first royal engagement independently...
