With the arrival of their first child reportedly just a few weeks away, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made time for a date night over the weekend.
Following their return from a three-day trip to Morocco, the royal couple stepped out on Saturday evening in London.
The pair headed out in the West End, to catch a theatre show. Their production of choice? A musical depicting the life and songs of Tina Turner.
Confirming the outing on Instagram, Tina: The Musical shared a photo of Harry and Meghan with the caption: "We were thrilled and honoured to welcome The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to the show last night. #TinaTheMusical".
Actress Adrienne Warren, who plays the role of Tina, also shared her excitement over the royal guests, tweeting: "They said they’d come and they did! Thank you to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It was an honour to have the opportunity to perform for you again! @KensingtonRoyal".
Their private visit to the West End comes after the couple were spotted watching Hamilton in February. They attended a gala performance of the hit musical back in August last year and according to the show's creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Meghan is better versed in the production than him.
'I was scared when I saw it with the Duke and Duchess because Meghan knew the lyrics slightly better than I did,' Miranda recently shared on The Graham Norton Show. 'I was trying to mouth along, and I couldn’t get it all. But I’ve been studying, and I think I can do it now.'
With former actress Meghan now patron of the National Theatre, there could be a few more nights out at the theatre to follow.
