As the old adage goes, ‘you should never meet your heroes’. After all, perspiration and dry mouth isn’t usually the best combination when trying to impress your favourite actor, singer or activist.
So, spare a moment for Kendall Jenner this week after she recently had a run in with her favourite star, Brad Pitt.
During an interview with comedian Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, which aired on Thursday evening, the model opened up about coming face-to-face with Pitt at Kanye West’s Sunday Service.
‘He was there. I think he's been a couple times, but that was the first time that I was there when he was there,’ the 23-year-old gushed to Fallon. ‘And, I literally left early.’
The 42-year-old actor was photographed at West’s weekly service on 1 September.
Jenner continued, explaining that she had recently watched director Quentin Tarantino’s new film, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, in which Pitt stars.
‘He just like, gets better with age,’ the reality star said of the actor, adding: ‘So, I was like, “I gotta go”.’
‘Isn't there a saying like, “Don't ever meet your superhero' or whatever? I don't know”,’ Jenner noted.
‘I just love him so much. I'm like, “I'm gonna leave it at that and leave.” I get nervous.’
Opening up about her famous family, Jenner described the clan’s newest family member – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s youngest child, Psalm – as ‘adorable’.
‘I actually got kidnapped when he was born,’ the runway model joked, revealing that her big sister forced her to say with her until they’d decided on a name for the baby.
‘[She] ended up going with the name that I didn't even - that I didn't care for as much,’ Jenner admitted, adding that she had chosen another name from the list of ‘beautiful’ monikers.
On Thursday, the model shared footage from her recent campaign shoot for Stuart Weitzman.
In a clip posted on the star’s Instagram account, the Californian-born celebrity can be seen dancing in sandy-coloured thigh-high boots and a black leotard with cut out panels.
