Updated article on 26/07/21: Joe Jonas has opened up about how he spent lockdown with Sophie Turner, revealing the surprising topic he and his wife of two years argued about most during their time at home.

In an interview with the WSJ. Magazine for its My Monday Morning series, the singer shed light on his and Turner's intense Lego obsession. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Willa, last July.

'I got very into Lego building. My wife and I probably built 10 monstrous Legos,' Jonas told the publication.

'It was also quite funny, because I was super focused on helping her but then I was getting easily distracted and playing Fortnite. At first we argued about it and then it was like, she loves her organisation and it’s completely different from the way I would build it: "You do you; I’ll be here for support."

'So then I became moral support; I’ll make the cocktails for us. We built the Batmobile; we built Harry Potter [Wizarding] World.'

The 31-year-old also said that he meditates and works on his Italian via Duolingo first thing in the morning. 'I’m learning Italian very slowly,' he said. 'I want to be able to get lost in the countryside; that’s my goal.'

Turner previously spoke of her lockdown life with Jonas, admitting to 'kind of loving' spending more time at home with her loved ones.

'I'm an introvert, I'm a homebody, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me,' she told TV host Conan O’Brien’s on his Conan At Home show last spring.

April 2020: Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner appear to be adapting to self-isolation pretty easily if their latest social media challenge is anything to go by.

On Wednesday April 15, the couple took part in a Mr and Mrs couples game on TikTok to find out how much they know about each other.

In the challenge, the pair answered questions about who is the most spoiled, grump, homebody and is the most annoying when hungry in their relationship.

At the beginning, the pair both sweetly pointed at themselves when quizzed who fell in love with the other person first.

March 2020: Joe Jonas has opened up about social distancing with his wife Sophie Turner as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread.

In an interview with Andy Cohen on Instagram Live earlier this week, per E!, the Jonas Brothers singer discussed how it feels to follow the US government’s guidelines when it comes to staying at home with his wife.

‘I think for us, it is nice to have each other during this time, but I think it can be [different] for a lot of different people,’ he said. ‘We got married last year, so naturally just wanting to be together, it's a really special time.’

The couple got married in Las Vegas last May following the Billboard Music Awards and enjoyed a second wedding in Sarrians, France in July.

‘I am trying to get my British delicacies down,’ Jonas added. ‘For us it has been wonderful... the thing I would encourage other couples is to find fun creative ways to have a date night with one another.’

The news comes a week after Turner spoke to TV show host Conan O’Brien about spending more quality time with her husband.

As the world becomes gradually accustomed to self-isolation, we’re slowly but surely settling into a daily routine, whether it’s setting a schedule for working from home, joining online fitness classes or learning new skills.

One person that’s slipping into her new routine at home is ELLE UK’s April cover star Sophie Turner.

On Tuesday, the Games of Thrones star appeared on show host Conan O’Brien’s new Conan At Home show, where he interviews celebrities from their homes during the coronavirus pandemic.

During the show, the 24-year-old revealed that she’s ‘very quarantined’ with her husband Joe Jonas.

‘I'm kind of loving it,’ she told the comedian.

'I'm an introvert, I'm a homebody, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me.'

The actress, who was recently rumoured to be pregnant with her first child (though she has not confirmed this), continued, adding that she leaves the house ‘once a day’ to walk her dog.

On the subject of social distancing, Turner said she couldn’t understand why some people were against adhering to the US government’s advice to stay at home.

'I'm like, all you have to do is stay at home and like get drunk at home, it's great,' she joked.

O'Brien replied, saying that he couldn’t recall Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, informing the public to, 'just get drunk at home,' prompting the actress to add: 'Yeah, but you know he's thinking it.'

'I love this. This is great, isn't it? You don't have to dress up,' Turner said before modelling her tracksuit bottoms.

'Oh yeah, I'm business on top, party on the bottom,' she joked.

The comedian interjected, noting that he has heard many couples struggling with spending so much time together during self-isolation. However, Turner said she and Jonas are enjoying their time together but that home is like a ‘prison’ for him.

'Joe and I... everything seems to be working out in my favour here because Joe is a real social butterfly and I struggle to lock him down and just spend time with me. It's like a prison for him, but it's great for me,’ she added.

Turner said that her husband has now found time to become an 'Instagram DJ' at home, adding it's, 'really really loud while I'm trying to read my scripts’.

That said, the star said ‘there are no rules in quarantine’ when it comes to bringing shots of tequila to her husband.
