Emma Watson has celebrated her 30th birthday by sharing the most adorable photograph of herself as a toddler.
On Wednesday, the Harry Potter star took to Instagram to thank her fans for their love and support during her career, on the day she turned the big 3-0.
In the photo, the Paris-born star can be seen fast asleep lying underneath a blue blanket wearing an orange knitted jumper and floral-printed bottoms.
‘Wow. 30! What an adventure that was.... You, out there - that have supported me - thank you. Thank you for all your kindness. Thanks for having my back,’ Watson captioned the snap.
The post has garnered over 3.4million ‘likes’ on the social media platform and birthday wishes from her fans.
In a new interview with feminist professor and author Valerie Hudson, published in Teen Vogue, the actress opened up about the scrutiny she faced after she described herself as ‘self-partnered’.
'For me it wasn’t so much about coining a word; it was more that I needed to create a definition for something that I didn’t feel there was language for,’ she told Hudson.
‘And it was really interesting because it really riled some people up! It was less for me about the word but more about what it meant — just this idea that we need to reclaim language and space in order to express ourselves because sometimes it’s really not there.'
Earlier this year the Little Women star opened up about feeling ‘stressed and anxious’ about turning 30 due to an ‘influx of subliminal messaging’.
‘If you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby… There's just this incredible amount of anxiety,’ she told British Vogue.
Watson’s 30thbirthday comes days after Watson’s Harry Potter co-star and friend Rupert Grint announced that he was to become a father.
The couple shared the news on Good Friday, with a representative for Grint and his girlfriend Georgia Groome couple stating, via Sky News: 'Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time.'
