Remember when Lauren Conrad uttered those damning words ‘I want to forgive you and I want to forget you’ to Heidi Pratt in The Hills and we all fist bumped the air in solidarity?

Well, there’s one person from the realms of reality television we never want to forget: Kristin Cavallari.

Millennials across the world will no doubt know the name Cavallari; from her humble beginnings on the reality TV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and romantic relationships with the likes of Brody Jenner, to her TV comeback in The Hills.

In the years since the famous programme ended in 2010, the Colorado-born star went on to carve out her own path in Hollywood, with a high-profile marriage to former athlete Jay Cutler, becoming a mother to three children, launching her jewellery business Uncommon James and starring in her very own reality TV show, Very Cavallari.

On May 19, Cavallari has announced that she will no longer continue with her reality series.

The 33-year-old businesswoman took to Instagram to share the news.

‘As I start this new chapter in my life, I have decided not to continue with Very Cavallari.

‘I’ve absolutely loved my time filming and am so grateful to E! Entertainment for making this journey possible. To the fans: I can’t thank you enough for all your support and for keeping up with me all of these years. I love you guys.’

But what's next for our favourite reality star-turned-businesswoman?

Here’s everything you need to know about Kristin Cavallari:

Is Kristin Cavallari dating Stephen Colletti again?

Kristin Cavallari and ex boyfriend Stephen Colletti have sent the Internet into a tailspin after the entrepreneur shared a selfie of them together.

On Tuesday, the 33-year-old posted a photograph of her and the actor on her Instagram account in which they cuddle up and smile at the camera.

'2004 or 2020?!' the mother-of-three captioned the snap, alluding to their romance during the hit MTV series Laguna Beach, which aired from 2004-2006.

The photo of the pair has been ‘liked’ more than 492,000 times and has been commented on by fans of the show who can’t get enough of the reunion.

‘OH EM GEEEEEEEEEEE,’ wrote one user.

‘Omg I am here for this,’ commented reality star Snooki.

Another added: ‘Mmmkayyy, give the people what they want!’

Earlier this year, Cavallari announced her split from her husband of seven years, Jay Cutler, and she is now believed to be single.

It’s unknown whether Colletti is in a relationship but he did tell US Weekly in March that he’s still friendly with his Laguna Beach co-stars Lauren Conrad and Cavallari.

‘That was half my lifetime ago. I’m 34 years old and I was 17,’ the former One Tree Hill actor stated. ‘We matured a little bit from 17 years old.’

How did Kristin Cavallari become famous?

Cavallari grew up in Chicago with her mother before moving in with her father in Laguna Beach, California and attending Laguna Beach High School.

It was during her junior year of high school that she became the focus of a new reality TV series, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, inspired by the hit fictional TV show, The O.C.

At the time of filming, Cavallari was in a relationship with the series’ lead ‘character’ Stephen Colletti, who had also captured the heart of fellow cast member, Lauren Conrad. The romances, cheating allegations and high school parties led to the mother of all love triangles and bitter ‘feud’ (how much truth there is to their hatred is debatable given the scripted feel of the show) between the two leading women.

When she graduated from high school, Conrad went on to film the spin-off series, The Hills, in California while Cavallari later moved to Hollywood to start an acting career. However, their paths collided once again when Cavallari joined the cast of the The Hills in 2009 and later assumed Conrad’s lead position in the show.

After filming for The Hills concluded, the star went on to film the US’ Dancing With The Stars and nabbed guest roles on series including Veronica Mars, CSI: NY and Adventures in Hollywood.

Following minor roles in films like Spring Breakdown, Cavallari was hired by E! in 2012 to provide commentary for the Academy Awards, with subsequent guest appearances as a result of her notoriety in Hollywood and styling prowess.

In 2018, the star launched her own TV series on E! named Very Cavallari.

Is Kristin Cavallari in a relationship?

Cavallari has enjoyed several, rumoured, high-profile relationships over the years with the likes of actor Chris Evans, athlete Matt Leinart and Brody Jenner.

However, in 2010 she began a relationship with former American football quarterback Jay Cutler. The pair married in 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee and are now parents to three children (Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor).

In January, Cavallari described marriage as ‘hard’.

‘It takes an effort from both people. Both people have to really want it,’ she explained on Diana Madison's Dream Big podcast.

‘Jay and I really make each other laugh. He's very supportive, and we both let each other be ourselves, we have fun!’ she added. ‘It's all about communication.’

On April 27, the couple announced their separation after seven years of marriage and 10 years in a relationship.

Cavallari shared a photograph of her and her ex-husband on Instagram to announce the news, explaining that their split came as a result of ‘two people growing apart’.

Cutler also shared a photo of him and his ex on his Instagram account with the same statement.

Prior to their split, the couple had been staying in the Bahamas with their children during the coronavirus pandemic. After their return to the US from their holiday, Cavallari removed the word ‘wife’ from her Instagram bio.

On Mother's Day in the US on May 10, Cutler praised his ex amid their divorce.

'Happy Mother's day to all the mums. These 3 little ones picked a good one,' he captioned a photograph of Cavallari and their three children.

The reality star commented on Cutler's post with a heart emoji.

What's up with the cheating rumours?

Following the announcement, infidelity rumours relating to Cutler circulated on the internet. Entertainment Tonight later reported that Cavallari accused her ex of ‘marital misconduct’ in court documents (which have been reviewed by the publication) filed by her attorney on April 24 in Tennessee. Neither individual has responded to the reports.

In the documents, it is claimed that the former athlete ‘is guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper’.

In Tennessee, the legal term ‘marital misconduct’ covers several forms of behaviour, not necessarily adultery. Cavallari’s documents failed to specify.

ET reports that Cutler cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ in his documents and listed their separation as having begun on April 21. Meanwhile, Cavallari listed the date on her documents as April 7.

Last year, the reality star opened up about her relationship with Cutler.

‘Jay has been great, yes. From the outside, like, things are so perfect and things are so great,’ she said. ‘But actually, like, they're not. And that sucks. It sucks. That’s the thing, though, with marriage - it's ups and downs.’

She added that she and the former athlete were experience a ‘low’ in their relationship but that it could change in a few months. ‘That's how we've always been, our whole relationship,’ she added. ‘It is what it is.’

What is Kristin Cavallari’s job?

The star launched her jewellery business Uncommon James in 2017 which has since grown into a 90-employee company earning $20 million in revenue, according to USA Today.

‘I just don’t think you have to spend a lot of money in order to have great style or to look and feel great, and that’s just as simple as it is,’ Cavallari told the news outlet last year of her vision for her business. ‘I think fashion should be affordable for everybody.’

The business has been a focus of her reality show, with sites in New York City and Chicago and crowds lining the streets of the cities on their opening days.

‘The first episode aired and just instantly it changed,’ she said of the show’s effect on her business.

‘We sold out of everything, and jewellery has like a six-to eight-week turnaround time. We had eight episodes the first season, and we were sold out of pretty much everything the entire season,’ she added.

The company’s name is believed to be inspired by her daughter Saylor’s middle name, James.

When it comes to her family, Cavallari chooses not to show her children's faces on social media and keeps them relatively out of the spotlight.

In 2015, Cavallari’s older brother Michael went missing for several weeks before he was found dead in Utah.

In 2018, Cavallari spoke about her brother’s death on Instagram. ‘Today is the 3 year anniversary of his passing and I think this year is one of the hardest- as it’s real now [sic],’ she captioned a photo of them on her account.

‘He’s not coming back and the shock is finally gone. Today and every single day, Mikey, we miss you.’

Is Kristin Cavallari an anti-vaxxer?

In 2014, the reality star stated that she would not vaccinate her children because she believes it could cause autism.

During an interview on Fox, Cavallari revealed she had not vaccinated her son Camden and said that she didn’t plan to vaccinate her future children.

‘Vaccines are not something I wanted to publicly come out and speak on. I sort of got bombarded in this interview and thrown off-guard,’ she said on HuffPost Live after she she received a backlash for her comments regarding injections.

‘There's really scary statistics out there, and to each their own. Autism wasn't prevalent - like it is now - years ago, so something is going on, whether it's the chemicals in our food or the vaccines,’ she continued. ‘Something is happening, and we can't really ignore that. I choose to believe that I think it's in the vaccines but, again, to each their own and that's where I stand on it.’

The star later appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live show and addressed the controversy.

‘You know, at the end of the day, I'm just a mum,’ Cavallari said of her decision not to vaccinate her children.

‘There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines and what they cause -- asthma, allergies, ear infections, all kinds of things. We feel like we are making the best decision for our kids.’

The NHS states that vaccinations do not cause autism. 'Studies have found no evidence of a link between the MMR vaccine and autism,' it explains on its website.

'Vaccination is the most important thing we can do to protect ourselves and our children against ill health. They prevent up to three million deaths worldwide every year.'
