Ellen DeGeneres got her to improv rap songs—from Nelly's "Hot in Herre" to Spears' "Work Bitch"—with piano accompaniment. Dion is brilliant. And then there's her snarky commentary, which makes the whole thing even better:

While on the show, Dion also discussed how her family is coping since the loss of her husband, René Angélil. It's tough but they're doing well because they know he's no longer suffering. "It's part of our life and it's not—life has imposed this on him," she told DeGeneres. "That was his destiny. And I still feel extremely fortunate that he has given me three magnificent children, wonderful pieces of luggage. As an artist, to feel confident and to have experienced enough and to keep going, and I'm well because he's not suffering anymore. Because the hardest thing is not to lose somebody you love but to see them suffer.

"So for me to know that he is in a place where he doesn't suffer any more makes me feel way better and second thing I feel extremely fortunate as a mother that, it's probably the thing I'm the most proud of: how I prepared my children for how to live with Dad, how to live with him without his presence…"
