After Warner Bros teased it last week, the third kickass trailer for Wonder Woman has landed.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman starts the new trailer ominously with a voiceover: "I used to want to save the world. This beautiful place. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within..."

Fortunately, she quickly gets down to the business of stopping bullets in slow motion and kicking some serious ass in slow motion. There's plenty of Chris Pine and Gadot trying to adjust to his world in WWI-era Europe, too (not in slow motion, obviously).

Director Patty Jenkins has previously said her film will take inspiration from one of the most optimistic superhero films of all time, 1978's Superman: The Movie.

"Superman was all about you," she said. "It was about you watching and realizing what it would feel like to have great powers and do great things. It was full of love and emotion."

Wonder Woman arrives in theaters worldwide on June 2, 2017.
