Earlier this week, Twitter user @sowahblanket innocently pointed out the fact that John Legend bears a striking resemblance to Arthur, the cartoon aardvark and internet meme sensation.
This epic observation was quick to go viral, earning over 76,000 retweets and 228,000 likes at the time of this post, with a couple people responding by adding their own evidence of the pair's striking resemblance.
Before long, word of her husband's doppelgänger got back to Chrissy Teigen — and given that she's the queen of Twitter, it should come as no surprise that she came up with the perfect response. Utilizing the super popular meme of Arthur's clenched fist, the model wrote, "John when you tell him he looks like Arthur."
Meanwhile, the Oscar and Grammy Award-winning has since responded to claim he has no idea who Arthur is — but that totally ruins the fun, so I'm going to keep pretending that's not the case.
