On the heels of movies like Arrival, Passengers, Rogue One and even Hidden Figures comes another space-inspired blockbuster, Life. The Daniel Espinosa-directed sci-fi thriller follows a space crew that's discovered a life form on Mars. The only issue is that it mutates into a mysterious alien predator—while they're still on the ship, bringing it back to Earth.
Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and Rebecca Ferguson star as crew members, along with Ariyon Bakare, Hiroyuki Sanada and Olga Dihovichnaya. Life makes its world premiere at South by Southwest film festival on March 18, and hits cinemas on March 24.
