Gwyneth Paltrow's current Manhattan home at 416 Washington Street — described by its listing as a "pale, dreamy cloud... not just in palette and texture, but in spirit" — just went into contract. But Paltrow lovers, don't despair: A former residence of hers also just hit the market in the same neighborhood for $24.9 million. May there be Goop for all.

The former spread at 13 Harrison Street belonged to Paltrow and ex-husband/Coldplay frontman Chris Martin from 2005 until they sold it in 2009 for $13.6 million, according to Luxury Listings NYC. That same year, they purchased the Tribeca unit at Washington Street for $5.1 million.

In a word, the Harrison Street home is... vast (particularly in terms of New York City real estate, where the average 1-bedroom is about 750 square feet). The 11,842-square-foot townhouse is loft-style with 1,600 square feet of outdoor space. Nestled on a cobblestone street, the home comes with three (three!) laundry facilities, large skylights and plenty of space for entertaining, according to the listing.

Although the townhouse is currently arranged as a two-condominium apartment, the entire building is for sale. It was built in 1887 for liquor merchant Alexander Halliday, who ran his business there. Later, in the mid-1900s, it was used as a manufacturing site for the Henry Heide Candy Company, which created Jujubes and Gummi Bears. The Neo-Grec property still retains many of its original features, including cast-iron columns and wood-framed shop windows.

Admittedly, it's not overwhelmingly Goopy upon first glance, as is the case with other Paltrow properties. While her latest home is filled with fluffy white rugs, pastel silks and a hanging bench, this townhouse takes a more industrial-meets-modern aesthetic, with exposed brick walls and multiple wood-burning fireplaces.
