Lana Del Rey just premiered a new song with The Weeknd on BBC Radio 1. The tune is the title track and first single from her her upcoming album, Lust for Life.

"I just thought he would be great for this song," she said of The Weekend before premiering the new tune on BBC. "I really feel like he just added so much on it," she added after it played.

"Lust for Life" proves that the singer hasn't strayed too far from her signature retro sound; the track is languid and nonchalant, in classic Lana style, but it gets a bit of a modern synth boost with the help of The Weeknd.

The song kicks off right away with Del Rey's signature sultry voice. "Climb up the H of the Hollywood sign," she talk-sings while eerie doo-wop vocals echo in the background.

Things get seductive towards the bridge: "Take off, take off, take off all your clothes," she sings in the hook. The Weekend jumps in with his falsetto, before both artists alternate in the chorus: "And a lust for life keeps us alive."

The track is also now available on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.

After the track premiered, Del Rey revealed that more new songs are coming down the pipe.

"I think the first two things I'm gonna put out are gonna have that bigger, richer sound. And then I kind of want to dig into a little bit more of the acoustic side of the record. Like, I have a track called 'Yosemite,' which I really like, which is just a little more laid back. It's kind of a love song that I did all in one take in the room. So I feel like there's a very loose kind of acoustic side to the record that I like, and I think I want to put out a couple more songs that have a similar production to 'Lust for Life' first."

She also opened up about a song on the album where she collaborates with Sean Lennon. According to a recent interview with Courtney Love, Del Rey revealed their collaboration will contain a tribute to his parents, John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

"I have this one song, like I was saying before, a little more acoustic, and I wasn't sure if it was gonna go on the record. I kept on thinking about who would be perfect to sing with me on it, and yeah, I just thought about Sean and I reached out to him, and we had so much fun recording it. And it's definitely one of my top three favorite tracks on the record, called 'Tomorrow Never Came.'"

Del Rey's track "Lust for Life" with The Weeknd is the latest of the two artists numerous collaborations. She was most recently featured in his Starboy album, on a track called "Stargirl Interlude."
