Ashley Graham is one of the most outspoken body positivity voices in the fashion industry. The model/activist/author balances real talk with sensitivity when talking about everything from cellulite to sexual assault, and she has the same compassionate approach in talking about her own body image.
In an interview with People Now, the 29-year-old said that although she's clearly found success in all kinds of fashion shoots, she still harbours some shyness about the almost ritualistic nature of the swimsuit reveal.
"I mean, of course like any girl when you get to the beach or the pool and you go, 'Oh, I have to take my cover-up off, crap.' And you feel like everybody's watching, and then you just go, 'Oh fine, I'll just take it off'."
In recent years, Ashley's been at the center of the body positivity movement, and she routinely books lingerie and swim campaigns. Her Instagram is an ode to both the variety of work she gets, and also her ability to werk any setting and style.
