A previously unknown Harry Potter superfan has been discovered in Game of Thrones' Kit Harington.
The actor has revealed he is a massive fan of the films and books, and even went as far to say he rates himself as an expert.
The revelation came about when Kit was asked by The Cut whether he has a secret passion for anything or is a secret expert on something. He responded: "Harry Potter. I'm pretty good with Harry Potter."
Jon Snow Kit also reckons the Sorting Hat would have placed him in Gryffindor, which is a bold claim if you ask us, and had some pretty harsh words for the other three houses.
"No one wants to be in Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw is boring, Slytherin is full of psychos as people know."
Fair.
Kit has previously dabbled in the Hogwarts world before when, in July, he auditioned for GOT characters for a sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live. While he tried (and failed) at Arya Stark and Daenerys Targaryen, he also threw in an impersonation of Harry Potter himself for good measure.
He also said he would totally fangirl over JK Rowling if he got a chance to meet the author and described his ideal HP character, something he'd clearly given a lot of thought to.
"I don't know if I would want to be a goodie or a baddie, I just know I want to hold a wand. I know exactly how I'd hold a wand – you know how Ralph Fiennes [aka Voldemort] does it, with his hand up, that's what I'd do."
Ok now I want to find out his patronus. Can anyone make this happen?
