Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce were spotted various times at Coachella, marking the singer's first attendance since 2016 (recall the shaggy platinum blonde bob dubbed 'Bleachella').

On April 3, Kelce confessed that he was a 'Coachella guy' during an interview with People. 'I love going to Coachella. I love live music in general,' he said. 'So you might see me pop up over there at some point.' So it wasn't too much of a surprise when fans spotted the pair dancing during a performance by the band Bleachers, in which Swift's long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff is lead singer.

The couple also watched rapper Ice Spice, who sang on Swift's track, 'Karma'. While Ice Spice performed the song, she said: 'Shout out to Taylor... I love you!' Some fans had speculated that Swift might appear on stage with another one of her collaborators: Lana Del Rey. However, the pair were notably absent from Del Rey's performance on Friday April 12, when they were instead spotted on a sushi date in LA.

Grimes performed on Saturday April 13, but her set was plagued by technical issues, with some of her songs playing at double speed. The artist was left screaming in frustration on-stage, explaining to festivalgoers: 'All my tracks are double tempo and I can’t do the math. They’re borderline un-mixable, so the rest of my set won’t be mixes but it’ll still be fun.'

She posted an apology on X the next day, explaining that she'd outsourced certain elements of the show. 'I want to apologise for the technical issues with the show tonight. I wanted to come back rly strong and usually I always handle every aspect of my show myself,' she wrote. 'if u want it done right, do it yrself,' she continued.

During her headline set on Friday April 12, Lana Del Rey welcomed Billie Eilish to the stage. The pair performed Eilish's 2016 track 'Ocean Eyes' as well as Del Rey's ballad 'Video Games', which featured on her 2012 album Born To Die.

'That's the voice of our generation, the voice of your generation,' Del Rey said. 'I'm so f*cking grateful she's standing next to me right now, singing my favourite song of hers.' Jon Batiste and Jack Antonoff also made appearances during the set.

No Doubt's Coachella performance on Saturday April 13 marked the first time in almost a decade that Gwen Stefani and the band had performed together. The long-awaited reunion also featured a surprise guest in the form of Olivia Rodrigo (wearing an I <3 ND tank top, no less). Rodrigo joined for the eighth song of the set – No Doubt's 2000 single, 'Bathwater' – alternating verses with Stefani.

YG Marley's set on Sunday April 14 featured not one but two musical legends. His mother Lauryn Hill came out as a surprise guest, performing something of a mini set of her own, including 'Ex-Factor' and 'Lost Ones', in a yellow and black suit from Balmain's collaboration with Ghanaian artist Prince Gyasi for the men’s AW24 ready-to-wear collection.

For the Fugees classic 'Killing Me Softly', Hill welcomed fellow band member Wyclef Jean to the stage, treating crowds to a partial reunion (they were just missing their third member, Pras).

Damon Albarn, the frontman of 1990s Britpop band Blur, was vocally disappointed with a let's say... muted response from the Coachella crowd. During the band's set on Saturday April 13, Albarn attempted to lead the crowd in a singalong while performing the 1994 song 'Girls & Boys' but was met with silence more than once. 'You're never seeing us again so you might as well f***ing sing it. Know what I'm saying?' he said.

The crowd did get involved during the band's biggest hit, 'Song 2', with Albarn commenting: 'This song has been so good to us. But I did get shown a TikTok of it being kind of performed by a vacuum cleaner which is you know… It is humbling and inspiring at the same time.

On Sunday April 14, Will Smith joined Reggaeton singer J Balvin on stage in full Men In Black costume (complete with aliens) to perform his 1997 hit of the same name. The performance marked a rare public appearance for Smith, who hasn't been seen much since he slapped Chris Rock in the now infamous incident at the 2022 Oscars. He's set to return to screens soon in Bad Boys 4.
