There comes a point, after an alcohol-infused night of dancing, that sees a group of you queuing in the nearest McDonald's debating whether to fork out for a Big Mac Meal with a large Diet Coke ('I'm on a diet') or whip out your old, expired student card at the off chance you might be able to nab a free cheeseburger.
And sometimes, just sometimes, you're so happy when your order is called for collection that you want to serenade the McDonald's employees for helping you in your hour of need.
Fortunately, it looks like we're not the only ones to feel such fast food elation, as Kanye West has used his lyrical expertise to write an ode to McDonald's French Fries for Frank Ocean's new magazine, Blonde.
Why?
Who knows why, but from the sounds of it, the Famous singer struggles with the carbohydrate's evil but oh so tantalising smell.
Preach, Kayne. Preach.
Read the poem below:
'McDonald's man
McDonald's man
The French fries had a plan
The French fries had a plan
The salad bar and the ketchup made a band
Cus the French Fries had a plan
The French fries had a plan
'McDonald's man
McDonald's
I know them French fries have a plan
I know them French fries have a plan
The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band
To overthrow the French fries plan
I always knew them French fries was evil man
Smelling all good and shit
I don't trust no food that smells that good man
I don't trust it
I just can't
McDonald's man
McDonald's man
McDonald's, man
Them French fries look good tho
I knew the Diet Coke was jealous of the fries
I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries
Even the McRib was jealous of the fries
I could see it through his artificial meat eyes
And he only be there some of the time
Everybody was jealous of them French fries
Except for that one special guy
That smooth apple pie.'
As you can see, Kayne got deep.
So, what else is in Frank Ocean's Boys Don't Cry magazine?
The free zine (which is now selling for up to £766 on eBay), is packaged along with Ocean's long-awaited album and features artwork from several of his visual album Endless collaborators along with essays and lengthy interviews with Kanye West, Lil B and Frank's mother.
