Stealing someone's personal property – be it physically or online – is a grave violation of privacy and is one currently faced by Pippa Middleton.
Today, it has been announced that police are investigating claims an iCloud account reportedly linked to the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa has been hacked and private photos stolen.
According to The Guardian, over 3,000 images have been stolen from the 33-year-old's Apple iCloud storage account, including those of Kate Middleton and her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The haul also includes photos of wedding dresses taken by Pippa, following her engagement to hedge fund manager James Matthews earlier this summer.
The news comes two years after celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Upton and Rihanna were victims to cyber theft of personal and intimate photos.
It's at this time we remember that privacy is a right, not a privilege.
