On Friday, comedian Amy Schumer released a parody video of her and actress Goldie Hawn dancing to Beyoncé's song 'Formation' and Twitter users are not happy.

Released by Jay Z's streaming website Tidal, the video – which sees Schumer and Hawn lip syncing to Queen B's hit 2016 single in a jungle wearing matching nude-coloured dress – has caused an uproar online, with many social media users calling the video offensive and tweeting the hashtag #AmySchumerGottaGoParty.

However, the Trainwreck actress has hit back against her online haters with a picture of herself topless on Instagram, with reference to Beyoncé's lyrics and a reminder that the video was released by Beyonce's husband's company.

'You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation. Thanks for the exclusive release Tidal! We had so much fun making this tribute. All love and women inspiring each other. #strongertogether',' she captioned the image.
