It's fair to say J.K. Rowling is absolutely smashing it on Twitter at the moment.

Back in June, at the height of Brexit mania, Rowling wrote an essay which began detailing our enduring obsession with the bogeyman, 'As this country has entered what will come to be seen as one of the most divisive and bitter political campaigns ever waged within its borders, I've thought a lot about the rules for creating villains.'

In the year since, many people have been drawing comparisons from fiction, in hope of bringing sense to messy situations.

Ellen DeGeneres talked through the plot of her film Finding Dory to explain her position on the Muslim ban.

And the cast of Stranger Things discussed how the Midwesterners of their show would shelter freaks and fight bullies at the SAG Awards.

This week, Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs took a trip to 'The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter'.

Isaacs explained he initially though the trip would just be a lovely day escaping reality in the fantastical world of Harry Potter, but after answering a few questions, he realised the relevance of the magical world in today's politics.

He later took to Twitter as well, to thank all the HP fans for helping him to remember to fight the good fight.

As if we needed reminding that Harry Potter is actually the answer to all our woes.
