What's the best birthday party you've ever had?

A visit to a petting zoo in year 5? Getting sloshed at the student union at 20?

Well Elton John isn't one for some mini golf and a pub crawl, no Sir.

And on Saturday night, the whole of Hollywood descended on Red Studios for Elton's 70th bash.

And when we say the whole of Hollywood, we blummin' mean it.

Heidi Klum, Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Jon Hamm, Tom Ford, James Corden, Isla Fischer, Sacha Barren-Cohen, (we could go on) were all in attendance.

And they weren't just in the crowd, sipping on champers, they were invited on stage too.

According to Elton's Insta, Diana Ross did a full set and sounded better than ever.

Elton's sons also got their first glance at their dad doing a full live set. Too cute!

Lady Gaga also had a go on the mic, and Elton posted a photo of the pair cuddling up to each other, presumably before the party.

She joined Stevie Wonder on the stage for a jam session to his song 'Happy Birthday'.

Just a chill Saturday night then, yeah?

Rob Lowe hosted the event, that was also raising money for charity.

And it looks like a good time was had by all.
