From sharing photos of their lunches out with their children to throwback photos of themselves as kids with their own mothers, the A-listers have kept their fans delighted with their sweet tributes and messages in honour of the most important women in their lives.

Jennifer Lopez
The Hustlers actor shared a glimpse into her celebrations on Sunday May 9 by posting several photos of her fun-filled day with her 13-year-old twins, daughter Emme Maribel and son Maximilian 'Max' David, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
'#MothersDay with my mommy and coconuts! [sic]' Lopez captioned the set of images.
On Mother's Day in the US, Lopez also shared a sweet message to her own mother alongside a video of the matriarch and daughter Emme. 'It was my mum who instilled in us at a very young age that we could do anything. This was something that has really stayed with me, [sic]' wrote the singer.
'Being a mum is my greatest joy, and today I think about my mummy and all the moms out there. This is your day, and I hope you are surrounded by love, gratitude and appreciation…enjoy it! #HappyMothersDay #IGotItFromMyMama #MamaGlowsBest. [sic]'
Gigi Hadid
The model marked her first Mother's Days since welcoming daughter Khai last September with a sweet Instagram tribute.
‘The rumours are true: my best friend, purpose, muse, greatest pride & joy! I feel so lucky and inspired bein your mama, my Khai!! [sic]’ Hadid captioned her Mother's Day post which included several never-before-seen photos of her tot.
‘An old soul full of sunshine, you light up everyone's days! Thank you thank you, thank you,’ wrote the mother-of-one.
Hadid made sure to also share a tribute to her own mother, model Yolanda Hadid, with throwback photos of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum.
‘Life! Miracles! MOTHERS! Cheers to our angels above & to you @yolanda.hadid, the most inspiring mama and best Oma we could ever ask for! We love you more than words. Eternally grateful, [sic]’ wrote Hadid on the snaps.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
In typical NSFW couple style, Reynold’s Mother’s Day tribute to his wife began sincerely before revealing a more cheeky message.
‘It can’t be said enough… you’re the heart and soul of every moment this family shares, [sic]’ he began his loving note, alongside a picture of the pair embracing.
‘I’m grateful for the light and for the kindness you smuggle into each and every second of our lives. I see you in the eyes of our children… Every laugh. Every blink and every thoughtful moment of vulnerability. The tender grit it takes to be a mother in 2021 is an act of pure strength and heroism.’
However, as always, Reynolds ended his caption on a more humorous note, writing: ‘Never could I have predicted anonymous airport bathroom sex would lead to this. Or how you’d hire Dog The Bounty Hunter to find me. Either way, I’m lucky to reflect a little of the sunlight you shine on all of us. Happy Mother’s Day, my love.’
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck
Affleck took to social media to share a sweet Mother's Day message to his ex-wife Garner, with whom he co-parents children Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, Samuel, nine.
The actor shared a series of unseen photos, including one that showed the family in The Wizard of Oz-themed fancy dress, along with a video of Garner saying she hoped to be home by bedtime.
'So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother's Day. Love, their dad [sic],' wrote Affleck alongside the photo carousel.
Kelly Rowland
The musician took took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself and her two young sons, six-year-old Titian and three-month-old Noah.
The singer beams in the the photo which she captioned with '#boyMom' and: 'Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there!!! [sic]'
Katie Holmes
Holmes marked Mother's Day on Sunday with a sweet black-and-white throwback shot of her kissing a young Suri, who is now aged 15, on her cheek.
'I am so grateful to be a mum to the sweetest daughter. Happy Mother's Day to all of the mums!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕, [sic]' wrote Holmes in snap's caption.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
The musician posted a touching tribute on Instagram for the Teigen that included photos of the couple with their son Miles, two, and daughter Luna, five.
'Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful wife! [sic]' wrote Legend.
'It's been a year that tested you in so many ways but you've come through stronger, wiser, happier and a better mother than ever. I'm so fortunate to have you as my partner, my inspiration and my best friend. I love you forever.'
Kate Husdon
The mother-of-three shared a sweet glimpse into her Mother's Day with her children: daughter Rani Rose, two, and her sons, Bingham 'Bing', nine, and Ryder, 17.

House of Harlow 1960 designer Richie used the day to champion the hard work it takes in order to be a mum.
Richie shared a throwback photo of herself attached to breast pumps while holding a glass of wine. She captioned the photo with a fitting note to all the women celebrating the day. 'To all of the multi-tasking mums just making it all work. Happy Mothers Day! [sic]'
