It's a well-known fact that if you pass a baby over to a stranger, relative or friend, they're more often than not going to want to re-create the classic 'Circle of Life' scene from the Lion King.

Holding up the infant to the sky as you loudly attempt to sing the Swahili intro to the song, 'Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba'? There is nothing better.

Just us? Well no, actually, it's not just us as Justin Timberlake did this exact thing earlier this month at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Tahoe, US.

Ahead of play, celebrity fan Michael Hood stood in the crowds with one mission on his mind – to get a celebrity (any celebrity, it seems) to hold his baby.

After much persuasion from the crowd – who bizarrely chanted 'hold the baby' at the star – Timberlake finally stepped up to the plate, holding the non-plussed infant up to the sky, mimicking the iconic Disney scene.

Of course, the crowd chimed in and sang along.

I mean, you can't exactly blame JT, can you?
