If you didn't already know it, Queen Elizabeth II is a bonafide badass.

From photo-bombing selfies and 'skydiving' with James Bond at the 2012 Olympics, to giving the Obamas her best 'fighting talk' ahead of the Invictus Games and hopping in the driver's seat to escort a Saudi King around Balmoral, the 92-year-old is the kind of nonagenarian we all hope to become.

But news has just come to light that the Head of the Monarchy also owns a silver iPod which is docked into a speaker at her Castle in Scotland, and she's just exceeded our expectations as a great-grandmother, yet again.

The Evening Standard reports a recent photograph revealed the silver gadget sitting on top of a cabinet in one of the traditionally dressed rooms of the property during a private audience with Grovernor-General Peter Cosgrove and Lady Cosgrove.

While it's yet to be confirmed by Buckingham Palace, it's long been rumoured that when the Obamas visited the Queen in 2009, they gave her the iPod as a gift.

So, what kind of tunes should we expect the Queen to be head-banging to in her downtime?

Well, according to Ingrid Seward, author of My Husband & I, the royal can't get enough of her 60s tunes.

'The Queen is a big fan of musicals, traditional hymns, and Scottish ballads, and even the Beach Boys's songs, especially "California Girls",' he told Vogue.

She also loves Elton John and 'all kinds of military music'.

Sadly, British pop group Queen didn't make the cut.

However, when she's not turning up the volume and discussing riffs with husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, the royal is also thought to be partial to making her own music.

'[The Queen] plays the piano herself and has a pitch-perfect singing voice,' said Seward.

Elizabeth, if you ever fancy a jamming session, you know where we are.
