Khloé Kardashian, who is eight months pregnant, responded to trolls nitpicking her decision to cradle her baby bump on the photos she's taken of herself during her pregnancy. 'People are very opinionated about my bump,' she wrote on Twitter. 'I choose to cradle my bump because it's MINE. I've waited for this VERY short moment for YEARS. I have only months to enjoy this phase in my life, so I will touch my bump and love my bump as often as I choose. Mommy loves you baby!'

Kardashian then replied to some fans who praised her statement. 'Do not lose sleep of [sic] the opinions of sheep!' one wrote, to which Kardashian replied 'Bloop!!!! Say that again.'

'God why are people such assholes!!!!! What a strange thing to comment on!! It's a way of showing love, affection and protection for the precious little one growing inside,' another replied to her. Kardashian wrote back, 'I guess they don't have much love themselves.'

As Marie Claire points out, there's technically nothing unsafe about cradling your baby bump during pregnancy. A study released in June 2015 showed that a mother rubbing her belly can help create a stronger bond between her and her unborn child because 'fetuses had more arm, head, and mouth movements [when she does so] than when the women did nothing or when they spoke to the baby,' the researchers found, according to Time.

Kardashian shared photos of her baby bump earlier this week from Tokyo. She's due at the end of March/early April with her first child with Tristan Thompson.
