Emma Stone, a very expressive woman, is currently filming La La Land in Los Angeles with friendly hunk Ryan Gosling.
Yesterday, she was photographed having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad moment.
Now, what could possibly be upsetting Stone? Some theories:
1) Her 'retro' costume, maybe it's the itchiest/least comfortable thing ever.
2) Hunger, because hanger is a scientifically proven thing.
3) Her missing invite to Jennifer Aniston's surprise secret wedding since they are very clearly friends. (Joey and Chandler understand your pain, Em.)
4) The heat because it's peak summer, in the 80s there, and that sun can be relentless.
5) The fact she is dressed like Madeline but missing her Pepito and Miss Clavel:
... also that she is not in Paris, which never stops being a disappointment.
6) Andrew Garfield's new mustache, which is almost as troubling as the beard he had previously:
7) The fact that Taylor Swift hasn't invited her onto the 1989 World Tour stage yet since basically everyone else has been there.
8) The very thought that some people are in frongs on jetpacks in St. Barth's right now, but here she is, working.
9) A half-eaten, discarded In-N-Out burger.
10) The animal off frame—likely a small dog—yapping at her.
11) The rabid paparazzi off frame yapping at her.
12) Her struggle to flee from either 10 or 11. Sometimes fancy flats are the worst.
13) The fact that it isn't Friday.
14) Ryan Gosling, off frame, who is having a funny face face-off with her.
15) Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively getting to star in the next Woody Allen film together. Rude.
16) Being told she has to go spend another hour in the hair/makeup chair because isn't her hair already perfect? (It is, yes.)
17) The idea that she hasn't been asked to play Ariel in the live-action adaptation of Disney's The Little Mermaid yet. (North West is kind of gunning for the role.)
18) The fact she is not in Cannes, experiencing this:
