Ryan Gosling is, according to popular opinion, the most adorable man alive. He’s been stealing hearts and doling out warm fuzzies circa The Notebook and he’s only gone and done it again in a recent skit on Saturday Night Live.
In this, one of Ryan’s more light-hearted roles – he plays an American yokel called Todd who encountered a UFO. The best bit? Watching the typically serious Hollywood actor struggle to keep a straight face.
The effort is valiant but, sadly, he fails. Ryan manages to style the giggles out for a good few minutes of the performance before cracking up (and breaking down) as Kate McKinnon explains how 40 grey aliens took advantage of her.
Hilarious and adorable in equal measure.
