While there's no disputing Destiny's Child bestowed us with a whole host of brilliantly empowering anthems in the late '90s and early 2000s, classic hit single 'Waterfalls' by fellow R&B group TLC wasn't actually one of them.

Unfortunately self-proclaimed Beyoncé mega-fan Karlie Kloss made the forgivable error in a Q&A with LOVE magazine, which was spotted by a reader who in turn posted it on Twitter.

The 24-year-old model had answered that she was the biggest fan of Beyoncé since her 2005 Destiny's Child days in the publication's Mega Fan Profile, citing the singer's 'swag', 'smile' and 'kindness' as attributes she was attracted to.

Karlie admitted to 'fan-girling' hysterically when she finally met her idol (who wouldn't?), and went on to state that Queen Bey was 'the soundtrack of her life.' She then added: 'C'mon, Waterfalls?!' - confusing former R&B trio TLC for Destiny's Child.

A social media user tweeted the Q&A profile and added the caption: 'The fact that Karlie Kloss thinks Destiny's Child sang 'Waterfalls' has shaken me to the core.'

However, it's probably is worth bearing in mind that Karlie was only two-years-old when the former no.1 single was released.

Meanwhile, it would appear that the supermodel has now acknowledged her mistake, as she tweeted a response to the all the twitter posts highlighting her blooper with the emoji of the monkey covering its face with its hands.

Don't worry we forgive you, Karlie, we've all been there when put on the spot!
