After stepping out in a Givenchy gown for the British Fashion Awards last week, the Duchess of Sussex has returned to royal duties without Prince Harry. Meghan visited the Royal Variety Charity's residential nursing and care home, Brinsworth House, in Twickenham on Tuesday morning.

The Duchess was wearing a floral print midi dress from Brock Collection, paired with a belted grey wool coat from Canadian brand, Soia and Kyo.

Later, the royal guest joined in some of the festive activities, including making a personalised Christmas decoration featuring Meghan's beautiful handwriting.

The visit comes after it was recently reported that the Queen is about to hand over some of her patronage duties to Meghan as soon as February of 2019. It could be a busy year ahead for the mum-to-be.
