It may be known as the nightlife capital of the world, but there are plenty of reasons to visit Ibiza beyond clubbing (although that’s always a good excuse). Beyond the Balearic beats and all-night raves, this is a place of surreal natural beauty, with pure white shores, rocky cliffs and verdant pine forests sprawling for miles. Hotels here can be booked up months in advance, so arguably the best way to visit is to stay in an Airbnb in Ibiza.

BEST IBIZA AIRBNBS

From boutique boltholes for two to sprawling fincas for the whole gang, Ibiza is full of unique places to stay on Airbnb, whether you’re finally getting that girls’ trip out of the group chat, jetting off with a partner, or taking the whole family.

There’s something to please everyone on the White Isle. Days might be spent snorkelling or renting a boat to discover unspoilt coves and laze around in the sun. You might want to explore the labyrinthine Ibiza Town, full of cobbled charm, buzzy restaurants and bars, and crowned with a majestic castle. Or you might head for the island’s quieter, secluded north, which is known for its hippie vibes, rugged landscape and authentic atmosphere.

We’ve searched high and low to curate this list of the best Airbnbs in Ibiza, with everything from a romantic woodland cabin to a vast bohemian villa on a secluded cliff. Each is featured in Airbnb’s Guest Favourite category, so you can rest assured that it’s received the best reviews and ratings.

Sant Josep de sa Talaia

It's little wonder that Blue Hill House is often used as a location for high-end photoshoots. Perched on a hill within a protected nature zone in the quiet western part of the island, this five-bedroom villa has stunning sea views from all angles and one of the best vantage points for Ibiza's legendary sunsets.

Perfect for a group of friends, it comes complete with a large heated pool, beautiful Mediterranean gardens, outdoor kitchen, countless 'chill zones', stylish boho-chic interiors, and even a few bottles of the property's branded artisan gin that will no doubt go down a treat.

Cala San Vicente

Airbnb

One of the most aesthetic Airbnbs in Ibiza, this 500-year-old finca beautifully combines rustic Ibizan charm and contemporary design – so much so that it's been featured in magazines, TV shows and coffee table books. Well, it is owned by a renowned interior designer, after all.

The perfect place for a secluded escape immersed in nature, it's surrounded by pine forests, almond groves and rock gardens, while also being a three-minute drive from local-favourite Ses Caletes beach. Inside, there are plenty of nooks for relaxing in, as well as an antique dining table made from a single tree trunk, plenty of cool vintage furnishings, a cosy fireplace and Sonos sound system.

One guest said: 'The house itself is a true gem, embodying the classic Ibicenco charm that we had hoped for.'

Sant Joan de Labritja

The owners affectionately refer to Sa Vinyeta De Can Mureno a 'cottage', but this luxurious Airbnb couldn't be further from a quaint and rustic dwelling if it tried. Guests delightedly comment how spacious the property is, both inside and out, with its three bedrooms, airy interiors, large pool, gardens and outdoor deck complete with BBQ and covered dining area.

Location-wise, it's surrounded by nature in the Ibizan inlands and close to the pretty village of Sant Llorenc de Balafia, while also being well placed to drive to any of the island's hotspots. Fair warning, though: unsurprisingly, this is the kind of place that people book out for entire months at a time, so make sure you get organised well in advance.

One guest said: 'The location is really perfect, all the nice places are about a 20-minute drive away. It is nice and quiet with a super beautiful sunset every evening.'

Airbnb

If you're looking for an Airbnb that's right in the heart of Ibiza's Old Town, you can't do much better than this duplex apartment set in a historic building right by the entrance to the fortified Dalt Vila. It's close to everything, which guests love, and easy walking distance from some of the best restaurants, bars and shops on the island.

Inside, it's a charming mix of period features such as exposed beams and traditional flooring, and contemporary touches like colourful patterned fabrics. But the best part has to be the scenic rooftop terrace, that's great for sunbathing by day and enjoying a tranquil aperitivo high up above the crowds by night.

One guest said: 'Spectacular place. Location could not be any better. Beds were comfortable, shower had good water pressure, blackout shutters were phenomenal - especially for Ibiza.'

Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Airbnb

Staying in this sprawling, white-washed Airbnb feels rather like having a whole five-star hotel to yourself. It's located in the southwest of Ibiza, close to some of the best bays and beaches on the island – though you'll likely struggle to ever leave the premises. With its epic views, huge pool, stylish spaces and numerous dining areas, everything you could possibly need for a fabulous group trip is right here.

The interiors have a touch of 'Ibiza glitz' about them – think modern statues at every turn, all-white-everything, jazzy rugs and a pool area that lights up at night – but that's all part of the fun. Just throw yourself into the vibe head-first, and you're guaranteed to have a ball.

Portinatx

Airbnb

This boutique bolthole is located in the stunning area of Portinatx, at the northernmost tip of the island. As good as Ibiza Aribnbs get, this one stands out for its immaculate style – enough to induce a little interiors envy in most guests. Dark wood and exposed brick create a chic moody palette, while touches of rustic orange add a sense of place.

The sea views from this top-floor apartment are enchanting, and made all the better by the fact that there’s direct access to a scenic rocky cove behind the property (in addition to the pool). It’s also a two-minute walk to a sandy beach and a handful of great restaurants.

One guest says: 'Atmospheric, clean and amazing views. We completely relaxed. It exceeded our expectations and we will come back for sure!'

Sant Joan de Labritja

For an Ibiza Airbnb fit for couples, look no further. This impossibly romantic wooden house offers unadulterated relaxation, surrounded by the island’s natural beauty. It’s a small but perfectly formed spot, with a bedroom, shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, sink and coffee maker inside, and lovely glass doors framing it all.

As the kitchen is small, staying here provides the ideal excuse to sample the excellent restaurants in the village of Sant Joan de Labritja, which is a short drive away. But our favourite part might be the sun-soaked wooden terrace, which is a heavenly place to perch for a morning coffee – or afternoon wine.

One guest said: 'Charming casita in the woods! We loved our stay here, it was perfect for our long weekend.'

Es Cubells

Airbnb

For scenic seclusion, it has to be this bohemian villa perched on a dramatic cliff in the south of the island. The views are spectacular, and from the spacious outdoor area you can look out over the whole of south Ibiza and all the way to Formentera (which is well worth a visit, should you fancy a trip).

It’s newly refurbished with three stylish en-suite bedrooms and a sense of effortless elegance throughout, achieved via neutral tones and an arty blend of boho and contemporary furnishings. If you can, wake up in time for the sunrise, which are incredible here – or catch it on your way home from a beach party…

One guest says: 'Such an amazing villa with incredible views and quiet enough to hear a pin drop. Words can’t describe.'

Ibiza Town

With views of the castle, this city centre penthouse attico is a prime spot for those who are drawn to the historic charm of Ibiza Town. It sleeps four with one double bedroom and a further bed up on a cosy mezzanine level, but its best feature is its gorgeous sun-trap roof terrace, complete with a table and chairs.

Inside, exposed beams and vintage-style furnishings add charm to the minimal space, while a kitchen provides everything you’ll need, even for an extended stay. For those looking to enjoy the legendary nightlife Ibiza has to offer, it’s ideally located, but equally it’s fully soundproofed for those who want to get away from it all.

Sleeps: 4

One guest says: 'Beautiful apartment right in the hustle and bustle and close to great places to eat and drink. The roof terrace is a lovely sunny spot.'

Cala Vadella

airbnb ibiza
Airbnb

The hypnotic trump card of this authentic little Ibiza Airbnb is its knockout view of Es Vedra, the rocky 400m island that juts out from the pristine blue of the Balearic off the south coast of the island. You could easily spend an entire week here drinking in the view from your own sun-dappled wooden balcony.

Inside, things are cosy and an air of old-Ibizan charm pervades, especially in a chill out area where books and a guitar wait to be picked up. There’s a full kitchen and room for four, with a queen bed and a sofa bed – but we think it’s best suited to a couple. An array of beaches are a 10-minute walk down the hill.

Sleeps: 4

One guest says: 'Great, cute little place. It’s true what everyone is saying: the view is amazing.'

Santa Eulalia del Río

Airbnb

A sea view, a hectare of land, a glistening pool and six pristine bedrooms: this countryside finca is the ultimate group holiday setting. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood north of Ibiza Town and surrounded by fruit trees and olive groves, so it’s better suited to those seeking a relaxing holiday than a party-filled trip.

That said, you could have plenty of fun without leaving the property at all – there's ample outdoor space for alfresco dining and three kitchens for cooking up feasts of local produce. It’s also five minutes from the sandy beaches of Santa Eulalia and San Carlos, so day tripping is very achievable.

Sleeps: 12

One guest says: 'A really wonderful stay in a house that looked just as good as the photos. Every kitchen utensil and amenity you could ask for, which is very handy.'

Playa d’en Bossa

Airbnb

This is a pad for those who want to party without compromising on luxury. Its interiors are pristine, with a great dining table for group meals and six bedrooms that look like they have been plucked out of a boutique hotel, with a chic take on rustic furnishings and beautiful beds and headboards.

It’s located in Playa d’en Bossa, the most popular resort on the island and home to many of its famous super-clubs (though you won’t hear a whisper from this Ibiza Airbnb). As well as this, the area features the longest beaches in Ibiza, which are dotted with laidback beach bars and perfect for soaking up some sun – and recovering from the night before.

Sleeps: 12

One guest says: 'We had a really great stay. The house is quietly located yet only a few minutes from the hotspots in Playa d'en Bossa.'

Es Cubells

airbnb ibiza
Airbnb

There’s something pleasingly Wes Anderson about this Ibiza Airbnb, with its ochre-yellow exterior and bright blue pool. It’s got substance as well as style, too, with three spacious double bedrooms and two bathrooms.

But you’ll probably want to spend most of your time outside here, floating around in the private pool, reading in the shade of the pretty gazebo or firing up the BBQ. It’s conveniently close to the airport and the sea (which is just 700m away), so if you do want to leave, there's plenty to check out nearby.

Sleeps: 6

One guest says: 'Inside, it is very spacious and equipped with everything, while the outside is wonderful with the pool and the gazebo.'

14

Puig d'en Valls

airbnb ibiza
Airbnb

One of the best parts of a group holiday has got to be long, languid lunches and dinners enjoyed outside. And for alfresco dining, this villa just north of Ibiza Town wins out with a fully fledged outdoor kitchen-dining and lounging area, set under a shady roof opposite the pool.

Its location is great too, under 10 minutes from the centre of Ibiza yet quiet and peaceful enough to feel like you’re a lot further away. The accommodation, spread over one floor, is comfortable and practical, though not without the artful touches that make a stay here feel special.

Sleeps: 8

One guest says: 'Spotless place. Much better than the photos. We’ll be back soon!'

Sant Joan de Labritja

This apartment captures everything there is to love about the peaceful northern side of Ibiza, with a rugged rocky aesthetic outside and chic, pared-back interiors within. It has one light, airy bedroom but can sleep up to four thanks to a sofa bed, making it great for a small group or pair of couples.

The pretty pool is shared between the small complex of five apartments, giving a sense of a small boutique hotel. Three beautiful beaches – S'Arenal Petit, S'Arenal Gros and Port – are accessible by foot, as is the charming Sant Joan de Labritja, known as the ‘last village in Ibiza’.

Sleeps: 4

One guest says: 'Perfect location and impeccable accommodation. Sara and her family were very kind and helpful.'
