Looks like Britain could be in for a battering this Monday, as 80mph winds are set to ravage the south of Britain. A powerful weather system is brewing over the Atlantic and is believed to reach the South Coast Sunday evening bringing with it strong winds and torrential rain. Which is why we've provided, below, a list of things you can do from your bed/sofa (delete as applicable).

MET Office spokesperson Juliet Gardner told The Independent, "If the storm arrives in line with current predictions then some areas along the south coast could see some of their strongest winds for a number of years," she said.

"Winds could potentially get up to 80mph gusts and the storm has the potential to damage some properties and take slates off roofs," she added.

Interestingly the storm doesn't actually exist yet. Eddy Carroll, chief forecaster at the Met Office, said: "Our forecasts models predict it is likely to develop in the west Atlantic on Saturday.

"There is still a chance this storm may take a more southerly track and miss the UK, bringing impacts elsewhere in northern Europe, but people should be aware there is a risk of severe weather and significant disruption.

"With that in mind, people should keep up to date with and act on the advice in our forecasts and warnings as the situation develops."

We'll be on avid weather watch this weekend and with Monday looking like a potential duvet day here's some ideas of things to do and wear while you're off work. Not that we're wishing for that, we just love Mondays...
