ELLE Editor's blog: What did I see on day 2?

By

(L'agence jacket, Paul Smith shirt, Erdem skirt, Jimmy Choo shoes, Smythson bag, Ray Ban sunglasses)

From clogs at Kinder to pineapples at Moschino Cheap and Chic via woven wicker at Holly Fulton, the second day of London Fashion Week was an upbeat journey through summer. Even the quilted ball gown at Jasper Conran brought a sunny smile to front row faces.

And the hottest Saturday for some time was the best #LFW accessory. Of course I loved all the clothes but more than anything I loved the hair. Now before I head out for day three's early start who can show me how to do a dishevelled plait?

Editor’s five favourites day two:

Music: remix at Henry Holland and Paul Smith, Misshapes at Holly Fulton by Jonjo Jury

Snack: popcorn and mini lemon meringue at British Fashion Council Lounge

Shoes: super wedges at Moschino Cheap and Chic

Surprise: Claire Barrows rubber dungarees at Fashion East

Quote of the day: Fashion Director Anne-Marie Curtis' tweet defining the day in three words –  'prairie, plastic pineapple’

Yesterday I chose the suede Choos, am thinking Tabitha Simmons next. What say you all?

In the #LFW Audi. Our driver this season is Jeffrey, he is a very patient man.  We get an envelope every morning with the day’s details on it and tickets inside. I won't tell you what happens to anyone who loses theirs!

I love this bag but now sure how I wear it?

DVF and Laurence Dacade boots... Ready to go.

Henry Holland show invite. It is an iPhone case!

My 10 year old will use the invites for her fashion illustration club next week. Now she appreciates having a working mum

Malcolm Edwards brought "elegantly feral" hair to Kinder Aggugini but it was this dishevelled plait at Holly Fulton that got me wanting to try out next season's hot new style now

Today the Editor is:

Checking out what all the other Editors are wearing. Don't I have a stylish team?

Getting #LFW envy from Atlanta De Cadenet. See what she's been up to here

Looking forward to day 3, including print queen Mary Katrantzou, style for less at Topshop Unique, 15 years of Matthew Williamson and British fave Jonathan Saunders to name a few
