'Now, we're gonna talk about body. You know I love my body, do you love your body?', is just one of the enticing soundbites overheard on set for our latest '5 In 5' video shoot with Ashley Graham. Hours after landing in London to attend the recent Fashion Awards, the body positive supermodel, mum of three and St. Tropez ambassador delivered a swift, but undeniably energetic, run down of her go-to skincare routine. 'I'm just gonna drop you my five essential products, I'm on a desert island, what do I need? Boom!' It's safe to say, one of Graham's many life skills is evading the effects of jet lag.
As well as a solid dose of pep, the 35-year-old is bringing her usual brand of barefaced honesty to her episode of '5 In 5'. In fact, her skincare routine kicks off with acknowledging that she is, in fact, not barefaced. 'Let's just address the elephant in the room, I do have a bit of eyeliner on.'
Cat eye aside, it's Graham's tanning tips that we're really here for. 'Right now this is my absolute favourite, cue the angel music. Think of it like this: 2, 4, 6. 2 is light, 4 is medium, 6 is hardcore tan,' she says of St. Tropez's tanning drops. 'Bring it up to the hairline because one time I didn't bring it up to the hairline and with all this new hair growth you could see it. And don't forget to wash your hands, because tan on the hands is not a cute look.'
Post-tan it's all about the hydration. 'You will not see me out in the streets with some crusty lips,' Graham declares before finishing her episode with some much-needed words of advice:
'Make sure you talk well to yourself, treat yourself nice, please!'
